Covid guidelines have been relaxed but please remain vigilant as we move forward and learn to live with Covid around us all. 

All events on the calendar are subject to government guidelines, and may therefore be cancelled at short notice, please bear with us at this difficult time and contact a member of the committee if you have any queries.

Charity RTV 2021  event information has been posted, please see the news page for more info. 

All attendees at events are to bring face masks and expect to be asked to wear them in line with guidance from Motorsport UK. Drivers to carry their own hand sanitiser and first aid kit.

Common Scrutineering Issues:

> Recovery points not correct, if Jate rings are used on an RTV vehicle, then they cannot be used
individually, one is needed on each chassis leg and a bridle arrangement to share the load.
> Recovery point loose
> No bump stops or incorrect bump stops fitted
> Batteries not secured correctly
> Wiring not secured and liable to Chafe
> Loose pipe work
> Large or heavy items not secured in back of vehicles
> Steering joints, loose, excessively worn,
> Steering drop arm loose on steering box
> Panhard rod bushes, excessively worn
> Tyres not adequately covered by mudguards/ spats
> Bumpers on CCV & RTV vehicles should be straight, however C&D are currently allowing the
end to be no more than 40 mm “ bent back or out of line”
> CCV vehicles fire extinguishers not in date ( no more than 2 years from either, date of
manufacture or last service) and not secured with 2 metal over-centre straps.
> CCV, The ALRC log book must be available at all events to be reviewed if necessary by the
scrutineer.
> RTV, All RTV vehicles must be road legal, and be taxed and have a valid MOT, unless exempt
exempt due to age and compliant with the MOT exemption rules.
