Sadly on the 12th November Trish peacefully passed away after her second battle with Cancer. Trish has been a massive part of our club for over 28 years, 25 years as club secretary, Cornwall & Devon Land Rover club were her extended family and she enjoyed all aspects of club life, from Scoring and marshalling at numerous trails to being in the timing hut at Comp safari, also not forgetting all of the marshalling and organising at the away events such as Baskies, Mendips, Majors and Nationals.
Trish will certainly leave a big hole in the club which cannot be replaced!
Trish’s funeral will take place on Tuesday 10th December at 10.30am St Peter’s Church, Ugborough, PL21 0NT, to honour her involvement in the club there will be a Land Rover procession leading the funeral cortège, the family would like as many vehicles as possible to meet at Ivybridge Train Station PL21 0PL at 9.45am.
Following the service there will be a private family burial but the family are inviting everyone to the Hunting Lodge PL21 9JN from approx 12 o’clock to celebrate her life by sharing stories and memories. Donations are welcome to St Lukes Hospice.
We miss you Trish, a club member, friend and family member that will never be forgotten.

Please let a member of the committee know if you are interested in entering a team. We already have a marshal for the event so this part of it is sorted for you.
The club will pay the entry fee for members.
I wanted to send out a quick email to let you and your club know that the Poppy Appeal Tiverton, will be holding their 3rdAnnual Classic Vehicle Show on the 4th of August. After such a successful year last year we have moved to Petroc College’s car park in Tiverton. (Address: Petroc College Bolham Road, Tiverton EX16 6SH.)
There will be a burger van on site for food and a mix of soft, hot and alcoholic drinks. We will also be joined by some local business stalls and local community groups as well as our wonderful DJ again this year.
To make the event run smoother, this year there will be someone on the entrance to give you a special ticket to win a bottle of bubbly and to take the entrance fees. The entrance fee for this year is £5, all money raised on the day will be going to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. There will be information available on the day about where this money goes, if you are interested.
The show will start at 11am and run until 3pm, please arrive from 10am to get parked up ready. There will be marshals on hand to aid in the safety of the event.
Please find attached a copy of the registration form, this can be used for individuals or for a club stand, if you would like to book in early, or as usual you can turn up on the day and their will be enough space this year. If booking as a club, please can I have a rough estimate of expected number of vehicles.
I have also pasted the link to the Facebook page if you would like to share it or if you are happy to pass on information that would be great, I also have posters available if anyone would like to display them at shows.

This event is being held over the weekend of 31st May to 2nd June at Hittisleigh, just off the A30 near Okehampton.
- Day 1 comp Friday 31st May 6.30pm until 9pm
- Day 2 comp Saturday 1st June 10.30am until 4pm
- Day 3 comp Sunday 2nd June 10.30am until 4pm
This will be an opportunity for club members to compete in either 1 of the days or all three, each event is a separate event.
Marshals and officials are required for all three events, food and drink will be supplied to anyone helping over the weekend. Please can you let Julia Cuming, Chris Cuming or Fraser Parish know if you are able to help and if so which days so that we can ensure you are added to the catering list.
A camping area is available for the weekend.
Up to 5 Bowler Motorsport drivers will be competing along side club members, numbers taking part will be limited with further limits on the Friday evening due to noise levels and light.

Newnham Charity Road Taxed Vehicle Trial 2019
Welcome to The Charity Event 2019 with all proceeds going to St Luke’s Hospice.
The event shall be held over the weekend of 22nd & 23rd of June 2019 at Newnham Park, Plymouth. The trial will run over 2 days and consist of 20 sections, 10 sections on each day. It will be run in accordance with the ALRC Competition Regulations and the Supplementary Regulations attached to this Entry Form.
This is a team event for groups of 3 drivers, with no more than 1 vehicle from the ALRC modified classes permitted in any one team. Modified vehicles may not be double driven within the same team. If you wish to enter a non-compliant team please contact the Event Directors. (Emma Pascoe-Parish & Emma White) Prizes will be awarded for the lowest total team score across the weekend, as well as the lowest scoring Ladies and Long Wheelbase teams and the lowest scoring individual.
